The Truth Machine

'I love truth,' said Professor Verity, 'and I hate lies. I love good people and I hate bad people. I love peace and I hate war. The Truth Machine loves truth, good people and peace. It hates lies, bad people and war.'

Professor Verity invented, what is called, the Truth Machine and told the newspaper office about it. He asked the office to send a reporter to him immediately and the reporter soon arrived at the laboratory. Soon, the Truth Machine was known to millions of people and they sent letters to Professor Verity. Then, the professor chose  three clients: Mrs. Seeker, Inspector Sack, and Dr. Simple.
Mrs. Seeker had a problem with his husband and she suspected that he had another woman. Inspector Sack was a policeman and wondered if criminals were guilty or not. Dr. Simple wanted to know about an empty spy who he caught.
Now, the Truth Machine will solve these mysteries.

Reading this book, I wondered if the truth was always really right. If you have something in doubt, do you want to use the Truth machine? and aren't you scared of knowing the truth?

Goldilocks and the Three Bears

Once upon a time there were three Bears: a Little Wee Bear, a Middle-sized Bear, and a Great Big Bear, who lived together in a house of their own, in a wood. Each of them had their own bowls, chairs and beds.  One day, after they cooked the porridge for breakfast, and poured it into their porridge-bowls, they walked out into the wood to cool the porridge so that they may not burn on their mouths. The Fairy

 "You are so pretty, so good and courteous, that I cannot help giving you a gift."  Once upon a time there was a widow, who had two daughters. The elder was so disagreeable and so proud, and the younger was kind, polite, and one of the most beautiful girls. The mother disliked the younger and made her work continually. One day, when the younger had to draw water and was at the fountain, she met a poor woman, who asked her for drink. The younger was very kind and she willingly gave it to the poor woman. The poor woman thanked to her and she gave the younger a special gift.
