The House on the Hill

 I met her in the evening By the riverside. Her dress was creamy white And her hair with ribbon tied. She turned and smiled at me, And I asked her for her name. Through I am young and poor, My love will stay the same.


Paul was poor and lived in a small town. When he walked near the river and watched the water birds, he met a girl, who was young and very beautiful. Paul spoke to the girl and knew her name was Maria and that she was very rich. She lived in the house on the hill, which he knew it was very big and important. Paul and Maria talked for a long time and continued to see each other since than, and finally they fell in love. One day, Paul and Maria met again by the river. She looked sad and there was tears in her eyes. Then she run away from Paul. "Did she come to dislike me?" he thought. He didn't understand her action. After he got home and worried about her, somebody knocked on the door. It was the servant on the hill. Paul was asked to see his mistress and the servant took him to the big house on the hill. Paul thought he was called in for the mistress to tell him that she would allow him to marry Maria. However, the fact was different. When Paul met the mistress, he was laughed at by the mistress and was told that She never made her daughter, Maria marry him. Paul loves Maria very much and wants to marry her. What should he do?

The reasons why Paul was refused to marry Maria is because he is a poor student and have no money.  It means if he earns a lot of money, he will be allowed to marry her. However, this story was not simple and very complicated. I want you to know what will happen between Paul and Maria.

Goldilocks and the Three Bears

Once upon a time there were three Bears: a Little Wee Bear, a Middle-sized Bear, and a Great Big Bear, who lived together in a house of their own, in a wood. Each of them had their own bowls, chairs and beds.  One day, after they cooked the porridge for breakfast, and poured it into their porridge-bowls, they walked out into the wood to cool the porridge so that they may not burn on their mouths.  "You are so pretty, so good and courteous, that I cannot help giving you a gift."  Once upon a time there was a widow, who had two daughters. The elder was so disagreeable and so proud, and the younger was kind, polite, and one of the most beautiful girls. The mother disliked the younger and made her work continually. One day, when the younger had to draw water and was at the fountain, she met a poor woman, who asked her for drink. The younger was very kind and she willingly gave it to the poor woman. The poor woman thanked to her and she gave the younger a special gift.
